Thank you to our sponsors!
With the generous donations, grants and support from our sponsors, we are able to take the words, “living an inspired life after loss,” and put them into action. We would like to recognize and thank the following companies and individuals for supporting our mission.
New York Life
New York Life provides insurance, investment, and retirement solutions along with expert guidance to help achieve lifelong financial well-being. New York Life has supported Live the List Nonprofit from the day we started as a nonprofit, and has continued to support us as we grow.
One of the ways New York Life helped support our members has been the development and distribution of a Mother’s Day card. Whether our members have children, no children, are a widow, or a widower, providing a card on Mother’s Day recognizes the importance of this day when their spouse or partner is not present to do so. With over 3,500 members (and growing) this is no small feat! A huge thank you to New York Life for making this possible.
Imagine heading to sleepaway camp with a group of exceptional entrepreneurs to learn, play and make a difference. Camp Maverick helped one of our members do just that by providing a grant for a Live the List Nonprofit member to attend their 3 day camp on business building and entrepreneurship.
Camp Maverick contributed this grant as a platinum level sponsor for the inaugural Live the List Virtual 5K Walk/Run. No bucket list dream is too big, and it certainly does not stop in starting or growing a business in honor of a loved one.
Tech Guys Who Get Marketing
Tech Guys Who Get Marketing is on the bleeding edge of tech and marketing innovation. They implement a platform-agnostic approach to both tech and marketing. We are thankful that they were one of our Bronze Level Sponsors for the inaugural Live the List Virtual 5k Walk/Run.
Aquatic Aviation strives for the ultimate experience with new and amazing water jet technology. Because of their donation, Live the List Nonprofit will be able to provide a flyboarding experience as a sponsorship to one of our members.
With many thanks, Live the List Nonprofit wishes to recognize our widowed supporters and members that have sought to help the widowed community.
Every year going forward Anna aims to complete a bucket list item in her husband Jason’s honor; whether it be to hike a 14er, hike to Machu Picchu or cage dive with Great White sharks off the coast of Africa…it will be something outrageous, and it will push her physically.
She considers herself fortunate enough to live her bucket list wishes, but there are many widows/widowers who cannot. We are so proud of Anna and her team of supporters who Lived Jason’s List and hiked a 14’er. We are also grateful you chose Live The List nonprofit for your fundraising efforts. Over $6000 was raised as part of the team’s preparations and we hope we made you proud with the widows, widowers and their kids we supported with sponsorships.
Charles Schwab Foundation
In honor of their husband and father Charles, the Schwab family (Dawn, Billy, Brett and Dylan) have generously provided two full scholarships to My1FitLife Adventure Weekends. The first to Lake Las Vegas in 2016 and a second to Stowe, Vermont in 2017.
Each year the Schwab children look for causes that are dear to them and in prior years have given to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, Melanoma Research Hospital, Penn Veterinary Hospital and Treats for troops overseas. This year the boys researched nonprofits that specifically help families live with cancer by helping to pay hospital bills, necessary bills and provide emotional support. They were Breathing Room, Sean Hogan Foundation, Fred’s Footsteps and Peter’s Place.
The Schwab family is committed to supporting future widows at more retreats and we are deeply honored to receive their support for members of Live The List nonprofit to attend these life-changing adventure weekends.
When Paola attended her first My1FitLife Adventure weekend it was a life changing event. Being surrounded by people that are genuine, supportive and loving empowered Paola to live her best life, to Live the List, to not take one single moment for granted and to live for those that left us too soon.
Paola is a passionate advocate for Live the List and has supported us in many ways – from donating, to connecting the nonprofit with like-minded supporters, to sponsoring a widow to a My1Fit Life Adventure Weekend. All in honor of her husband Jordan and in the hope that another widow/widower’s life will be changed – that their light is ignited once again and they allow it to shine brighter than ever. That they live their best life. And that they remember that we are still here for a reason.
The Billy Burchard Foundation & Susan Cronin Burchard
The Billy Burchard Foundation and Susan Cronin Burchard have generously sponsored 3 full scholarships for widowed members to attend the My1FitLife Adventure Weekend in Stowe, Vermont.
The Billy Burchard Foundation was started by Susan and some close friends to honor Billy’s generosity and zest for living the best life he could, even while dealing with cancer. The scholarships help widowed members of Live The List Nonprofit who have lost their spouse/partner due to cancer or other causes, to experience the support of others who understand their journey, hope and the possibility of living their best life.
The Casey Wolfe Foundation
In honor of their son and brother, the Casey Wolfe Foundation has provided a full scholarship to a My1FitLife Adventure Weekend to support a widow or widower who experienced loss either through complications caused by addiction, or who suffered their loss because of some one who suffered from addiction such as a drunk driver crash.
The Live The List Fundraising Team
We are deeply honored to have 44 supporters who have come together in the Live The List Fundraising Team. Our supporters donate their time and advocacy to help in anyway they can during our fundraisers throughout the year. Last year we had a very successful fundraiser for Giving Tuesday and it was entirely due to their efforts.
Thank you all so much to all for your amazing support!
